IN NEW GALLERY OF THE GRAPHIC COLLECTIVE

GRAPHIC COLLECTIVE - TRADITION FOR THE FUTURE. After four years of organizing exhibition and virtual projects in the conditions of nomadic-pandemic life as a “Gallery in motion”, the Graphic Collective today in its new Home, a representative space (350m2) in the heart of the city, marks the beginning of a new/second phase of visible professional activity and in a strengthened form continues it’s cultural mission of affirming the visual arts with a new concept and creative energy. The large-scale undertaking of the reconstruction of the gallery space was made possible thanks to the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia, and in the meantime, the Graphic Collective had the support of a large number of artists, friends, media, colleagues and institutions.
Catalog of the May Exhibition of Printmaking 2022.
The first May exhibition of printmaking was opened in 1952 (28 authors participated), in the Gallery at Obilićev venac 27, Belgrade, and this year's edition of the exhibition (124 authors participating), after 70 years, opens in the new Gallery of the Graphic Collective, at the address Dragoslava Jovanovića 11, Belgrade. In its long history, the exhibition presents a vital keeper of the hearth of the graphic art within the framework of national visual art scene.

On the occasion of the opening of the May Exhibition of Printmaking, the Great Seal Award is presented. This relevant award was established in 1963. The jury for this year's 59th Great Seal Award of the Graphic Collective: Jelena Jocić, graphic artist, laureate of the Great Seal 2021, Sava Ristović, art historian and Vladimir Milanović, graphic artist, unanimously awarded Nikola Radosavljević for his work titled “Roof studies / Safe from Harm” (2022) in the linocut technique.
